Srinagar, May 30 (KNO): On the instructions of the Patron-in-Chief of Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil, Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, a team from Darul Khair will be leaving tomorrow for Uri and its adjoining areas with essential relief kits for families affected by the recent conflict situation. With the support of local Imams, the team will distribute the relief kits and convey Mirwaiz’s message of sympathy and solidarity with the affected people, a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) reads. Ahead of the auspicious occasion of Eid, the team is also scheduled to visit Poonch to deliver relief supplies to families affected there. It is worth mentioning that since its inception, Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil has consistently worked—through the generous financial and in-kind support of people —to assist and rehabilitate people affected by natural and man-made disasters, without any discrimination of religion or community. In this regard, the institution once again appeals to people of means to continue supporting its humanitarian and community service initiatives, as they have in the past, so that relief efforts continue without interruption—(KNO)
